Combine your love of art deco architecture with your love of water. Relax and enjoy the character of Canberra’s first pool. The historic Manuka Swimming Pool was completed in 1930 and was officially opened on 26th January 1931.

The Manuka Swimming Pool is set on two hectares of grassland with ample shade provided by the many trees within the boundary.

Additions to the facilities over the years have been the toddlers wading pool in the early 1960’s and the “SS Red Duck” pirate ship playground which is a popular hangout for young kids while mum and dad enjoy a coffee from TAV’s  cafe which was opened in 2012.
